From Alumni to Students: A Legacy of Care and Support
About the #PadAGirl Campaign
At Cheziya Gokwe High School Alumni Trust, we believe in giving back to our alma mater and supporting the next generation of leaders. Recognizing the challenges many young girls face in accessing basic menstrual hygiene products, we launched the #PadAGirl Campaign—a heartfelt initiative to ensure no girl at Cheziya Gokwe High School misses school or faces discomfort due to a lack of sanitary pads.
The campaign invited our dedicated alumni members to contribute $1 a day for the duration of the campaign. These contributions, whether in cash or through the donation of actual sanitary pads, were aimed at providing a steady supply of menstrual products to underprivileged girls and those facing menstrual emergencies. For many of these students, access to such basic necessities can be a significant barrier to their education and well-being.

Memorable Day: Handing Over Sanitary Pads to Our Alma Mater
We are proud to share that the #PadADay Campaign was a resounding success, thanks to the generosity and commitment of our alumni community. Together, we have made a tangible difference in the lives of these young girls, ensuring they can focus on their studies and personal growth without the added burden of menstrual challenges.

Making a Difference: How the Donation Will Help Students
This initiative is more than just a donation—it’s a statement of solidarity, care, and empowerment. It reflects our shared belief that every girl deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to thrive.

Thank You to Our Generous Alumni
