The Cheziya Gokwe High School Alumni Trust was officially registered on October 28, 2024, by its founder, T. Makoni. Our mission is to foster a vibrant and supportive community of Cheziya High School alumni, dedicated to promoting the welfare of our members and supporting the growth and development of our alma mater.
Launch of the Alumni Trust
On November 30, 2024, the Alumni Trust was formally launched at a memorable event held at Leisure Lounge Gokwe. The ceremony marked a significant milestone, featuring the first elections to appoint the Executive Committee members.
Our Executive Committee
The elected Executive Committee is committed to driving the Trust’s vision forward. The committee comprises:

Events & Activities
At the Cheziya Gokwe High School Alumni Trust, we believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and giving back. Our events and activities are designed to bring alumni together, celebrate our shared heritage, and contribute to the growth of Cheziya High School and its community.
From networking gatherings and mentorship programs to fundraising initiatives and community outreach projects, our calendar is filled with opportunities to engage, inspire, and make a difference. Whether it’s reuniting with old classmates, supporting current students, or participating in impactful projects, our events are a testament to the enduring spirit of the Cheziya family.
Programs and Projects
The Cheziya Gokwe High School Alumni Trust has successfully completed its first quarter projects, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the school and its community:
- Alumni and School Websites: Both websites are now live and operational, enhancing communication and networking.
- Girl a Pad Campaign: Sanitary pads have been raised and are nearly ready for handover to support needy girls at the school.
- Sports Uniforms Project: Uniforms have been procured and will soon be handed over to the school.
These achievements reflect the Trust’s dedication to making a tangible impact. Moving forward, the Trust plans to build on this success with new initiatives focused on education, mentorship, and community development.
Alumni Chapter Launches
The Cheziya Gokwe High School Alumni Trust is proud to celebrate the successful launch of several alumni chapters across the country, marking a significant step in uniting our alumni community and expanding our impact.
Gokwe Chapter: Launched with a vibrant general elections event, this chapter has already begun fostering strong connections among local alumni.
